Emily D

PGCE Primary, Keele SCITT (2018). BA (Hons) Community Drama, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (2016).

Member since 2021 Miss Emily D

My name is Emily and I am a primary school teacher, currently teaching Year 3. I have worked in primary schools and SEN schools and specialise in engaging children who find learning frustrating. I love creative methods and will always have fun with your child whilst ensuring that the focus is on the all important catching up that the last year has deemed necessary. Children have had a lot of time out of school and it is therefore important to engage them in learning in a way that is unique to the individual child. I specialise in supporting children who are finding learning a little challenging and have worked with children from reception all the way through to high school age.

Member since 2020 Mrs Jenna E

Qualified and experienced Secondary-level teacher of French and Spanish specialising in preparation for GCSE, but also delivering tuition at KS3. Experience of providing tuition for AQA, Edexcel and iGCSE. I have been providing high-quality tuition to a range of students, both in the UK and abroad for the past three years. My aim is to build my students' confidence in all 4 skill areas and I will always tailor lessons according to the individual needs of my students. Online teaching can be done via Zoom using a shared whiteboard with which the student can interact. I can also provide homework and feedback on written work on request. I like to have a good line of communication with parents and students and provide updates on student progress when needed. I don't see the online platform as a barrier to building rapport and have built up good relationships with the range of students I teach. I'm currently tutoring 6 GCSE students across a range of exam boards.
