Mrs Joanna W

Qualified and experienced Primary school teacher, with a degree in Management Science (University of Warwick 1994). Trained (University of Hertfordshire 2007) and taught in an Outstanding Primary across KS1 and KS2 (focus KS2) for 11 years. Gaining experience in KS1 teacher assessment, phonics, and SEN. I began teaching as an LSA focusing on autism. As a class teacher I taught children with ASD, dyslexia, hearing impairments, and took statemented children on Residential in KS2. I tutor in the core subjects across the Primary age range and can help prepare children for 7+ and 11+, whether it be to challenge learners, or to provide 1-1 support. Tailoring my teaching to meet individual needs, inspiring a love for learning, encouraging a growth mindset, and boosting confidence and self-esteem. In January 2020 I taught EFL online. Mr Robert B

Rob successfully completed his degree in Sports Science from the University of Lincoln and initially started working with numerous Lincolnshire primary schools developing Physical Education. From this, Rob decided to step into full-time education. This led him to pursue a School Centred Initial Teacher Training programme through the University of Hull from which he graduated as an Outstanding Practitioner. He began teaching at a very successful school in Lincolnshire and quickly progressed to becoming Head of Year 6, responsible for securing high levels of success for over 90 students. Throughout his time here, and as well as becoming Subject Lead, Rob demonstrated exceptional application of the UK National Curriculum for all Key Stage 2 year groups, particularly in English and maths, where he consistently showed marked improvement in his students’ attainment through a variety of initiatives. Rob also has experience in helping students to succeed with transfer tests, both 11+ (UK) & AQE (NI).
