Miss Victoria N

I am a current Secondary History & Geography in a large Academies Trust. I am a young, ambitious teacher and my favourite part of my role is seeing my pupils enjoy their studies. I am known for my positive approach to pupils with their studies, and my nature seems to encourage further engagement and concentration within the subject. In my previous role to this, I taught up to AS Level also, at an Independent School, therefore meaning I have experience in different educational settings. I teach Y7-11 and have taught Y12. I have seven years successful experience of teaching GCSE from several boards to pupils of all abilities including AQA Synergy (Trilogy content) and Edexcel and OCR Triple Science. I spent 3 years as Lead Teacher for Science for the Tutorial Program at Akeley Wood School, specialising in pupils with SEN so have lots of experience with pupils with SEN. I presently lead scientific literacy for Liverpool Life Sciences and specialise in the correct use of keywords and English in order to give the answers the examiner wants. I am also experienced in stretching high ability students aiming for the very best grades. My classroom is a safe space where students are happy to express themselves and to question until they understand.
