I am a fully qualified teacher with 20 years experience of working in schools. I am currently a KS2 teacher in a primary school, but I also have experience of teaching in KS1 and have 15 years of experience as a secondary MFL teacher in an outstanding high school. I feel it is important for learning to be fun and engaging, and a positive experience. I love to see children having their lightbulb moment as they realise that they can do it! I can tailor lessons according to the individual’s needs. I have a proven track record of ensuring that my pupils make good progress and achieve their full potential. I can teach all subjects covered in the National Curriculum at Primary level, and I can also offer Spanish from KS2 to A level and French at KS2 and KS3. I also hold a TEFL qualification, so am able to teach English as an additional language.

I am a French native speaker and I have been living and working in England for the past 30 years. Most of my work involves teaching my native language and also writing, editing and recording material to learn French as well as being an examiner for all main UK qualifications. I have extensive experience as a teacher, having taught from beginner to advanced level, ranging from primary school-age children to adults wishing to learn French for fun or work purposes. I have over 25 years experience as a teacher/tutor, helping students prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, improving their listening and speaking skills. I also work as a Lifelong Learning Tutor teaching adults at all levels. I prepare adult learners for the DELF examinations and also provide support to students at degree level such as the OU and teaching qualifications in languages. I enjoy tutoring and ensure my sessions are tailored to the needs of the learner. My priority is that all my students enjoy learning French and make regular progress.
