I am a qualified teacher and graduated from Warwick University in 1990. I was a Primary school teacher for many years and gained experience in all year groups. Currently, I work part time in a special school in Kent providing tuition for pupils with a variety of special needs including Autistic Spectrum disorder, ADHD and auditory processing disorder. Many of these students are well below the expected level and my Dyslexia expertise helps increase both confidence and attainment. I also specialise in 11 plus and school entrance exam tuition. I run mock tests at my home to work on exam technique ahead of the actual tests. I offer students a taster session free of charge before starting tuition.

Prior to doing my teaching degrees, I worked as a professional nurse specializing in aviation medicine doing worldwide medevacs. I have also worked extensively in travel & tourism and was station manager for a major airline. French has been a major asset in these careers and I'm passionate about sharing it.
