I qualified in 1984 with my PGCE from Cambridge University and since then I have taught in a variety of schools in both the private and state sector in London & the South East where I taught at The Judd School in Tonbridge teaching English GCSE and Latin A level. My most recent school post was teaching GCSE English AQA Board in Sussex. I have been tutoring for the last 20 years for the Kent 11 Plus examination including my own children, who all gained places at Kent Grammar schools, and also tutoring English Literature & Language at GCSE and A Level. I have recently moved from Kent to Cornwall but I am still in touch with my students and it is wonderful to see them progressing in their lives. I can supply email addresses of my clients in Sussex / Kent whose children I taught English Literature and Language to on a one to one basis. My own children have dyslexia and ADHD and I have helped them in their studies to secure places at Manchester and Bristol University.

Hi I am an experienced Primary Teacher with 18 years of experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, 2 and within a SEND setting. I have spent several years in Key Stage 1 administering SATs and the Phonics screening. My most recent specialist experience has been within complex SEND settings primarily ASD related approaches. I am the head of Economics at a local grammar school and also teach Business Studies at both GCSE and A-Level. These application skills, coupled with clear exam technique, taught one to one, help students to understand how to structure their responses and improve their results.
