Dr Nick C

I have taught Mathematics at the University of Bolton for around thirty years and, having retired from full-time teaching, am currently an Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics at the University. I've designed and presented courses in all aspects of maths at various levels, including courses leading to an ‘A’ level equivalent qualification (Polymaths). Most of my teaching has been in the area of classical applied maths as part of the BSc (Hons) programme. My commitment is to excellence in teaching, winning the best lecturer award in the School prior to retirement. I have a strong belief that one-to-one tuition offered with genuine care, enthusiasm and a strong subject knowledge can, by being tailored to an individual’s needs, make a real positive difference. I’m happy to offer GCSE, ‘A’ level Maths and Further Maths or more advanced University work in areas such as differential equations, dynamics, fluid dynamics. https://mathsatbolton.wordpress.com/current-staff/dr-nick-clarke/

Maths, Further Maths
PhD Applied Mathematics, CNAA (now Manchester Metropolitan University) (1992). BSc (Hons) Mathematics, CNAA (now Manchester Metropolitan University) (1981).
