I have been a qualified Primary School Teacher for 15 years and qualified SENCo for 5 years with a masters degree. I have taught across KS1 and KS2 in Thurrock, Maidstone and Dartford. I am also a qualified Reading Recovery Specialist. I have experience of working with children with Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, EDS and lots more. I am really passionate about teaching the curriculum around each child's interests and in a way that helps them learn best. I can teach any subject from the primary curriculum from the age of 4 to 11. Being a parent of a child with a SLD I completely understand the importance of working with all of the team around the child to gain the best outcome for them. I believe with patience, strong relationships, empathy, understanding and a clear picture of each child's unique starting point and learning style their barrier to learning can be reduced to create an independent and confident learner.
