As a Lead Practitioner for Mathematics I am a recognised excellent teacher of Mathematics. My role involves training teachers to teach more effectively. I have taught mathematics for 30 years and in that time I have led departments, been a local authority advisor and a deputy head teacher. Throughout the teaching of mathematics has been my passion. I have tutored regularly and am now fluent and effective with online leaching - using Teams and Zoom . Enthusiastic. Efficient. Passionate. Newly Qualified Primary Teacher with a proven record of helping children progress, providing positive learning experiences. I am currently helping young children through online tutoring and supply work. I have taught across the Primary Curriculum, including EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2. I have had exposure to an abundance of differentiation strategies and observed how to implement them according to the demographic of the class. I have worked with; a class in which 90% of pupils had English as an additional Language; pupils with physical and emotional needs in a SEN school; and several mainstream schools with a high percentage of pupil premium figures. This means I will be able to effectively recognise your child as an individual and adapt my teaching to match their specific needs. It is my belief that teaching plays an essential role in preparing children for life beyond the school gates.
