I have had a long career in education in Scotland. Initially, I worked as a classroom primary teacher in Glasgow and Edinburgh before becoming Assistant Head/ Acting Headteacher of a large primary school in East Lothian. I then moved into Teacher Education becoming latterly, a senior university lecturer in Education and also course leader of the BEd (hons) primary education degree course. In recent years, following early retirement for family health reasons, I have worked as a supply teacher for Glasgow City Council in both mainstream primary and ASN sectors. I am also an experienced personal tutor currently tutoring in Mathematics to upper primary/ lower secondary aged children both face to face and online via Skype and Zoom. I am fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland and hold also a current PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) Certificate issued by Disclosure Scotland

I have also work as teacher in China, Indonesia, England and Japan and I have previously worked as processional software Engineer with international companies. I can teach in most programming languages, but Java and Python are the two I know best.
