Mr Margaret S

I am a qualified Primary school teacher with nearly 30 years experience teaching children from Early Years to Year 6. I was the Maths subject leader for many years at my last school and am particularly skilled and interested in helping children achieve their potential in this subject. As a teacher who has worked across all age ranges within primary school I have always done my very best to ensure that all the children in my class achieve their potential. I continually strive to improve my own practice through CPD and reflection so that the needs of all children are met. My teaching and learning has consistently been judged as very good to outstanding for all year groups I have taught and I have a proven track record of achieving good progress and attainment for all children.

I am confident with teaching all subjects within the Primary National Curriculum across all stages, EYFS, KS 1 and KS 2. In March 2020 I decided to leave full time teaching and become a tutor. At the moment, I am working with a range of children across the primary age group , also I am working with children who are being home-schooled for a variety of reasons. Mr Ruben D

Teaching science is my passion, unfortunately schools don't often offer learners the opportunity to really learn and excel. I've been supporting students with their science and even geography GCSE's for the past four years. In tuition I can always give students the opportunity they deserve to be able to achieve. My past three students all achieved grades 8 and 9. Looking forward to helping more young minds excel!
