Miss Kirstie H

Hello, I am an experienced teacher and have taught across KS2 for 6 years. I have recently returned to teaching part-time, after the birth of my adorable son in November 2019 and I am looking to build my tutoring portfolio. I have a wealth of experience in teaching all primary subjects, with particular strengths in English, Maths and Science. Having taught in every year group in KS2, I have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and what the children should know at each stage. This allows me to deliver effective tuition lessons and prepare the children for their next year group. During my time spent in year 6, 75% of my class made accelerated progress in their SATS, through my outstanding planning, delivering and assessment. I also have a lot of expertise in teaching children with SEN so I can help to remove barriers to learning.
