Ms Joanne W

I am a fully qualified English Teacher currently working in a school as the Head of the English Department. I have thirteen years experience of teaching English in secondary schools including extensive experience of GCSE exam preparation and closing the learning gaps of KS3 and KS4 learners that need extra support to catch up. I also have three years experience of being an AQA GCSE English Language Examiner as well as tutoring students from primary age up to A level for the last ten years. Additionally, for many years, I taught in an SEN school where I worked with young people with a number of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and a number of mental health issues including PTSD and anxiety.
