Most recently I have been a class teacher for Autistic children aged 11-14 at a specialist school in Bournemouth, I was previously employed as a SEN teacher at a school for ASD children aged 6-14 in north London. I have good knowledge of Makaton sign language, PECS communication system, SCERTS, Zones of regulations, Attention Autism and various sensory regulation approaches. I have had training in Team-Teach positive handling, manual handling, 1ST AID, Rebound therapy and TEACCH approach.

Mrs Maree T

Qualified and experienced Primary teacher and SENCO with over 15 years' teaching experience. Currently a Specialist Teacher and SEN Consultant: advising schools on SEN processes and strategies; providing staff training and working with children with complex SEN who are homeschooled or on part-time timetables. Previously the Inclusion Manager at a local primary, guiding staff to provide appropriate support for children with SEN. Teaches the full Primary National Curriculum, Key Stages 1 and 2 to all ages and abilities. Can support children with complex SEN. Can support preparations for KS1 and KS2 SATs and School Entrance Exams (11 plus). Very experienced in assessing children's academic needs and planning accordingly in Primary settings.
