All of our private tutors in Feltham are qualified and experienced teachers offering their skills as high-quality tutors. This means we cover every academic subject and year group - and that our tutors have the most up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and exam boards. Lessons can be taught face-to-face in your home or delivered online, at a time that works for you.
Many parents get frustrated by poor quality, unqualified tutors. That’s why all 18,000+ of our UK tutors are qualified schoolteachers – so you know they are trained to teach children, safe, and experienced at teaching the latest curriculum at a high-quality.
You don’t need to scroll through pages of irrelevant and often unavailable tutors with our service. Just fill in our simple form or have a quick phone call and, within 24 hours, we will send you a shortlist of available, suitable teachers in your area.
You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson, and we will look to find you another high-quality teacher.
I am currently a teacher at St. Andrews Primary School, Chinnor and teach across the school. I have taught across all of the Primary Years over the course of my career. I have experience teaching a variety of children with a wide range of abilities and SEND. As a class teacher, I have been responsible for planning for, supporting, and guiding other adults to work with children with complex needs. I have written, alongside the SENDCo, a number EHCPs and have advised parents about how to support children with SEND. This support in learning and social skills is under constant review to ensure that pupils are happy, comfortable, confident and thriving. I have worked with children with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, global delay, Downs Syndrome, speech and language difficulties amongst others. Above all of this however, building relationships is the most important factor for success.
I have over 13 years of experience working with a wide range of children and young people from different backgrounds. For the last 6 years, I worked with young adults with SLD, PMLD and I have a passion for working with them. I love helping students to achieve their full potential and in the last two years, I was actively involved in assessing and baseline using the assessment tool, recording students data and evidence-based targets. For over 3 years I led an after school club for children with special educational needs: multi-sensory story club, art club and sensory club. Since June this year, I coordinate a weekend club for children with special educational needs in the community under Local Authority funding. Competent in using AAC devices, Communication books and Makaton Sign.
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher in Bedfordshire - I have been teaching for 8 years. I have experience teaching and tutoring ages from 4-11 year olds - both Key Stages 1 and 2. I have 5+years specific SEN and EAL teaching experience. I have been doing private tuition for the past 7 years and I am very passionate and dedicated to each young person I work with. I have tutored children from many schools in the Luton / Dunstable / Harpenden area and have excellent success rates. My sole belief is that children learn best when they are engaged, motivated and happy through fun learning. Developing a child’s confidence in their abilities will in turn increase their attainment and progress. I can also support preparations towards SATS and 11+ Examinations.
