Daniel S

Member since 2021 Mr Daniel S

Hi, I'm Dan and I currently work full time as a secondary school science teacher, whilst also supervising cover alongside this. I gained my PGCE from St Mary's University in Twickenham, and before that I spent two years working as a learning support assistant. This allowed me to work with young people of varying abilities, which has allowed me to understand the importance of teaching content at a specific level. I believe in a collaborative approach between teacher and student. By instilling a collaborative approach in lessons, I have found that students become more engaged in their topic whilst also retaining more information. It is important that students are interested and enjoy learning, which is something I keep most in mind when delivering sessions.

Subjects: Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
