Mr Matt K

I have 15 years of teaching experience and 3 years experience of being the Head of A Level Maths at an International School in Brighton. I have taught all of A Level Maths, and also all the Core Maths from Further Maths as well as the FS1, FS2, FP1 and FM1 modules (EdExcel). I also have experience of teaching GCSE Maths (both EdExcel and CIE) at Foundation level and Extended, as well as experience of teaching Years 7 - 9. Recently I have done a lot of 1-1 tuition and consider it to be a very effective method of learning, as I can establish students' strengths and adapt my suggested methods to those that the students will understand best. I recognise the importance of patience, and in giving students as long as they need to fully internalise a concept. For online tuition I use zoom and a graphics tablet, which allows me to demonstrate to the student how to present their reasoning.
