Miss Maxine M

Hello, my name is Maxine and I am a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Primary School Teacher specialising in Mastery Maths. I follow the Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) approach, which underpins the entire mastery framework. Over the past several years of tutoring, I have focused on helping students develop their understanding and confidence in Maths and English. I have also tutored across Key Stage 1 and 2 for writing, phonics, reading comprehension, SPAG, and preparation for KS1 and KS2 SATs. I can support revision of topics that students have covered in school as well as introducing new topics to further their abilities. Each lesson will be tailored to meet the needs and learning styles of your child, their current ability and the ways in which they are able to understand different areas of the subject. I have a wealth of experience of different learning abilities and understand that all children learn differently. I strongly believe in growth mindset and that all children can achieve.
