Mrs Sheila M

I am a very recently retired primary headteacher, having taught in a range of school over 30 plus years. In recent years I have missed the opportunity to work one to one or in groups with children as the managerial role took over , so look forward to taking this chance up again. I am a specialist SEN primary teacher and have a clear empathy with children looking for ways to learn that suit them.

Mrs Sarah N

Qualified Primary teacher. Currently working only as a tutor; very experienced in working one-to-one with children. Also mum to a grown up son, so I have experienced the education system from the point of view of a parent. I specialize in teaching maths and English for Key Stages 1 & 2. I have been tutoring face to face since 1999, (with a break for online tutoring between March 2020 and June 2021.) I particularly enjoy working with the younger pupils and am currently tutoring a 6 year old child, and three 7 year old children (all from the Moseley area). I can see that these children were so young when the first lockdown happened that they have missed out on much of the basics but all the children are making rapid progress with individual help. If required, my glove puppet friend, Amanda Panda, would be willing to attend lessons to assist with tuition - no extra charge!

I am a professional teacher with a warm and enthusiastic personality. For the past 15 years, I have been tutoring GCSE English. I get fantastic results. Last year all of my students achieved their predicted grades and a large percentage achieved higher. I am extremely enthusiastic with an in-depth knowledge of every exam paper and a fun teaching style. I teach effective planning to optimise learning. I work as a tutor for GCSEs in AQA, OCR, WJEC and Edexcel. Additionally, I have students in China who are learning IGSE or are working towards ta place at the prestigious Wellington College. I have also taught psychology at A-level in secondary school. I feel that I understand mental health issues, in particular anxiety in my students and have a grown-up son with ASD.
