Miss Nadine A

Qualified Primary Teacher with a kind and patient approach towards teaching and see the importance in getting to know each child as individuals in order to apply their interests and needs towards tailored lessons throughout their learning experience. I ensure children’s learning is monitored to document progress, working towards specific goals. My lessons are fun and engaging for children to feel motivated and involved. I enjoy building a rapport with each child and maintain great communication between parents to plan what is best for their children. I gained this valuable teaching experience in an International school working overseas in the UAE, teaching the UK letters and sounds programme. I worked with children from various backgrounds and gained experience teaching children who were learning English as an additional language along with children who had special educational needs. I am interested in helping children of a young age develop their phonics awareness, social and emotional skills, in addition to fine and gross motor skills.

Mrs Niki C

I am an experienced Primary Deputy Headteacher with over 21 years of teaching experience across KS1 and KS2. My passion has always been Mathematics although I am experienced in teaching across the primary subject range. I have been a Mathematics Subject Specialist for most of my teaching career following a degree in Mathematics where I achieved a first. I have a proven record for enabling children to make substantial progress in across the curriculum and I have a clear understanding of the age-related expectations for each year group in KS1 and KS2. I have an excellent relationship with all of the children I teach. I believe in first ascertaining the gaps in a child's knowledge so that key concepts can be planned for based on a child's individual needs. No two children have the same areas of strength or areas to develop and so the curriculum they are taught should tailor to this. Each concept is broken down into smaller chunks to make learning manageable.
