Mr David I

Qualified and experienced chemistry teacher having taught in both state and independent sectors for 30 years at both GCSE and A level. I have achieved consistently strong results at all levels with many pupils going on to study chemistry in the sixth form and chemistry related courses at university including medicine and at Oxbridge. My aim has always been to treat each pupil an an individual and try to meet their specific needs within the subject. I have held various roles including Head of Chemistry, Deputy Head Academic, and an independent schools inspector. My career has involved teaching at Watford Grammar School, Monmouth School, Lord Wandsworth College, Eastbourne College and currently Malvern College where I am also Chaplain and continue to teach chemistry at (I)GCSE and A level. I was also an examiner for A level chemistry with AQA for a number of years.

Mr Stuart G

Having just retired from teaching French for over 40 years, I am now looking to tutor students in the subject at all levels including at university standard. I was head of MFL in 2 schools in Gloucester and Swindon and have a wide range of examining experience. I have been a chief examiner for AQA IGCSE French, principal examiner for AQA GCSE French and am currently an assistant lead examiner for AQA GCSE French. I have also examined at A level. I firmly believe that academic excellence, allied to an outgoing nature made me a successful teacher and I would look to bring the same qualities to my job as a tutor. In addition, I have taught GCSE English and A level Sociology.
