I am a fully qualified and highly experienced teacher of A-Level and GCSE Biology. Throughout my career I have also taught GCSE Science and Physics in the UK and IGCSE and CIE A-Level Biology whilst overseas. After 13 years teaching Y7 - Y13 students, in 2015 I took a post teaching A level in a post-16 college. This has given the opportunity for me to really focus on the skills required to be successful at A level, focusing on the required practical and mathematical element, as well as exam technique. I have recently undertaken further training at the National STEM Centre in York covering "Maths for A level Biology" and "effective delivery of practical skills at A level", alongside completing Teacher Subject Specialism Training for Mathematics. As a part time teacher, I have availability to teach online during school hours in term time on Tuesdays and Thursdays and during the school holidays, as well as after school and weekends.
