I am a science teacher with a specialism in physics but teach all sciences from Year 7 to 11. I teach physics up to A-level and sometimes teach maths up to GCSE. I have tutored for over 5 years, including 2 years as a full time tutor. I have also taught in secondary for over 4 years. I generally teach with a traditional style, emphasising the progression from basics through to mastery. However, I do build in opportunities to explore the topics using discussion as tutoring presents a unique opportunity to gently develop students' understanding in such a personalised way.
