Richard S

TSST Maths, Cheadle Hulme High School (2017). PGCE with QTS, French and German, University College London (2016).

Member since 2020 Mr Richard S

I am a qualified French and German teacher and I have also retrained as a maths teacher, which I have been teaching in recent years, both in school, through private tutoring and online, at all stages of the GCSE curriculum, including exam preparation. In recent months, I have been working as a supply teacher and tutoring in the local area and can support home schooling. I am currently working as a dedicated maths teacher in a school where my role is to plan and run catch-up sessions for students who are lacking in confidence or have missed work over the past year. I have experience and knowledge of teaching all 3 subjects to the new GCSE specification. I have also taught and supported staff in a special needs school for autistic pupils. I take pride in getting to know my pupils, what they like and dislike about the subject I am teaching, and then I can tailor my lesson material to build on what they can do while addressing their weaknesses at the same time.
