At KS3 I enjoy creating engaging lessons that allow students to develop geographical understanding and skills. I am responsible for planning all the lessons, resources and assessments for GCSE Geography. We teach the AQA specification. I have also been an AQA examination marker of the unit 2 human geography paper. I teach IB geography to year 12 and 13, with a focus on the core units and option topics of urban environments and hazards. Within this I have delivered IA on the river Darent with all being awarded a grade 6 or 7 by the IB. I have also mentored yr 13 students with their extended essays. A role I really enjoy as I am able to support the development of independent learning and research skills with students.
