I grew up in inner-city London, where I gained 12 GCSEs A*- C. I then completed my A-Levels in Physical Education, Information Technology and Psychology and achieved A*A*C, respectively. Sport and fitness are areas that intrigued me throughout my upbringing, both academically and playing a variety. The opportunity to play various sports whilst growing up and studying PE at GCSE and A-Level gave me a strong passion for sport and fitness and inspired me to study Sports and Exercise Science at University. After my bachelor’s degree, I wanted to inspire others to participate in sports and foster a passion for learning, so I completed my teacher training at the University of Nottingham. I work part-time in a secondary school as a Teacher of Science and tutor on my days off.

Miss Grace S

I have completed my PGCE Early Years (3-7 years old) with QTS at Edge Hill University. I know the least EYFS and the Key Stage 1 curriculum, I know the expectations and the Early Learning Goals that children need to reach at the end of the EYFS and Key Stage 1. I have experience teaching and supporting children in pre-school, reception and Year 1. I can support your child in their core subjects ie phonics and maths for example supporting children with phonics sounds and blending resulting in children to become confident readers. I have supported working with SEN children and EAL children to give them the confident academical. When working with children I am creative and interactive making children feel comfortable and learning in a fun and enjoyable way.

Mrs Emma F

I am currently a full time Geography teacher at a Grammar School in South Manchester. I have over 8 years teaching experience including both GCSE and A Level. My specialism is in Physical Geography at A Level, however I can and have taught all topics. I can now offer online as well as face-to-face tuition. Additionally I mark GCSE and A Level papers for AQA which gives me an in depth understanding of the requirements for the exam. I am also a Team Leader for AQA, managing other teachers through the marking process and quality checking papers. Working in a Grammar School I have a good understanding of the exam requirements and can offer help with understanding the content and exam technique. I have a degree in Geography (2:1) and a Masters in Environmental Studies. Further to this I have also completed a PGCE in Geography education (distinction). Working with students one to one I can create a bespoke plan in order to most help achieve their target grade.

I am a qualified and experienced Primary teacher, and now a full-time tutor. I teach Maths and English to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children across all ages and abilities, including SEN. I teach several home-educated children, using the national curriculum to assess their current ability and their interests to engage them with their learning. I am a specialist in phonics, early reading and SPAG due to my First-class English Language degree.
