I am a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher , currently teaching Year Four at Burgess Hill Girls. I have particular knowledge of preparing children for SATS and entrance exams including 11+. My teaching experience includes over 20 years teaching in State and private sectors across the Primary Curriculum, including all year groups in Key Stages 1 and 2. My teaching has always been rated as good or outstanding in all observations, including Ofsted inspections. I am offering tutoring for support in maths and English across the primary age range as well as preparation for SATs, 11+, Scholarship and School Entrance Exams. My passion is to find ways to stimulate learners to succeed and feel challenged and excited by their learning. I tailor my sessions to match the needs of the individual, learning about their particular requirements and discussing strengths and areas where they feel less secure. Qualified Spanish Teacher with a BA in Spanish Philology from the University Complutense of Madrid. During my studies, I joined ESN UCM for 3 years to help international students to improve their Spanish language skills. This inspired me to write her BA dissertation titled ‘Common mistakes of English speakers in Spanish’. After graduating with honors I pursued my MA degree at the University College London. At the same time, I continued teaching Spanish to groups of adults and private lessons in companies such as DCM, First State Investments, and BIT. I then worked as an Account Manager for Transperfect, the biggest Language Service Provider in the world, in order to learn more about the language industry. I generated over 2-million GBP in revenue and worked on thousand projects leading to the expansion of companies into Hispanic markets. Currently I am teaching C-executives and busy professionals willing to take their Spanish to the next level.
