Mr Scott T

Hi, my name is Scott and I have been a Qualified Primary School Teacher since 2014. During this time, I have worked as Class Teacher across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and have an in depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum. My experience has also taken me to North Africa where I taught a Year 4 Class in a school in Cairo, Egypt. I started my career in tutoring in 2015, initially to help gain more experience and knowledge of the curriculum and to enhance my subject knowledge. In the beginning, I had just two or three students, working alongside my career in school, but numbers have increased because of the benefit of tutoring online which I do successfully. During the pandemic, I was able to teach my class of 30 from home and tutor a small group of 3-5 students. I have now decided to tutor on a full time basis as this provides me with opportunities to study further and relieve myself from the ongoing pressures of school life and it offers me a better work life balance.
