Mrs Rosemary S

I am only tutoring online at present. I am a very well qualified and experienced maths tutor and enjoy sharing my love of maths, my extensive maths knowledge, especially at AS and A level, and my many years of teaching experience with students at all levels from Key Stage 3, to GCSE and AS and A level. I have also been an Edexcel Examiner for many years, marking A level maths exam papers, giving me a sound understanding of where and why the exam marks are awarded. I teach for understanding, rather than rote learning, and I am happy to explain tricky concepts and topics as often as needed, and in different ways until the student increases in confidence and competence. I expect students to work hard, learn the facts thoroughly and practice a wide variety of examples, bringing any difficulties back to the lessons until they are fully resolved. Many of my students have told me that they now enjoy their maths much more, as well as achieving and often surpassing their predicted grades.
