I am a primary teacher and English specialist. I qualified as a primary teacher in 2017 and prior to that, I worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school and as an English tutor. I’ve worked in middle leadership and have taught in Reception and years 1 and 4. Although I specialise in teaching early reading, writing, and spelling, I also have a deep understanding of mathematics mastery and supporting children in achieving fluency and depth in maths. I have experience teaching students with English as an additional language, I’ve worked with students with a number of learning difficulties and additional needs, and I have experience as a personal carer for a child with autism. I have always been interested in education and have had experience in both state and private education. I love teaching, but I particularly enjoy working 1:1 with children to help them to achieve their full potential. Children leave my lessons feeling happy and accomplished.
