Six years ago, I studied for two years to gain my Primary Maths Specialist Status and have used this to develop maths in both my own and other schools. I also tutor KS2 and KS3 children during my spare time and love to see the progress a child can make in a one-to-one session. Member since 2020 Mrs Jennifer B

After I graduated from studying Theology at the University of Oxford, I spent six months volunteering in Cambodia, teaching English as an additional language. I then went on to complete my PGCE with a KS2 Primary specialism, at the University of East Anglia. I have almost ten years teaching experience in Norfolk, in both state and private sectors, across all the Primary years, from 3 to 11. I am not currently working in a school, as I am a stay-at-home Mum, to our toddler twin daughters. I really enjoy inspiring and instilling confidence in those I teach. Many years in education have taught me that every student has a different learning style, and this puts me in an excellent position to be able to tailor my teaching to your child. I am a professional, experienced and conscientious tutor who will go above and beyond to make sure your child excels. I seek to make my tutorials engaging, informative and tailored to the individual learner.

Martin R

PGCE, University of East Anglia 2008. MSc Design of Information System, Cranfield University (1994). BSc (Hons) Physics, University of Newcastle (1985).

Member since 2020 Mr Martin R

I have taught Physics for 12 years at a top independent school in Norfolk. I am an examiner for a number of different exam boards at GCSE and A-Level. I have also worked for a number of years as a Physics tutor on residential courses for a leading commercial provider. I re-trained as a Physics teacher after careers in the Army and in the IT industry. I try to bring the Physics syllabus to life using real-world examples, showing the relevance of the core ideas in an attempt to make them more meaningful and memorable. I also taught Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level as a second subject. I believe that many students simply lack self-confidence in Physics and are capable of more than they realise. During my teaching career, I have most enjoyed the opportunity to help students maximise their exam grades.

Subjects: Science, Physics, Computer Science
