I love maths! My areas of specialism are working with students who have anxiety around maths and identifying and closing knowledge gaps to increase confidence. I have been lucky enough to teach maths in an outstanding secondary school, a private international school, and a large academy. Across the 14 years I have been teaching I have been Head of Mathematics in two different schools as well as Assistant Headteacher as part of the senior leadership team. I teach ages 11-18 and have taught GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, GCSE maths resist, and adult learners. I have also taught the International Baccalaureate to Studies and Standard levels. Also, I have been an examiner for Edexcel and trained new career teachers. I believe that all students can both learn and appreciate the beauty of mathematics.
