I am recently retired but previously taught Physics in 2 of Birmingham's top grammar schools. When I started to teach I quickly became aware that many students found the subject difficult and have attempted to teach in a visual and active way to ensure that students can grasp even the most difficult ideas. I have taught at all levels from year 7 to year 13 and have an excellent record at GCSE and A level in Physics. I have been tutoring on and off for the last 10 years and all my students (and parents) have been happy with the progress they have made. I have also recently become an AQA Examiner. You might spot below that I did not do a PGCE. My first school trained me and I became a qualified teacher after 2 years.
