I am currently the Head of Science at a state comprehensive school. I am responsible for the delivery of all science education for KS3, KS4 and KS5. I also have specific responsibility as the leader of the Chemistry Department. My passion is for teaching chemistry and I am fortunate enough to teach the subject at Combined Science, GCSE and 'A' Level. I develop most of my own teaching resources and I am most interested in finding new and ever more effective ways of teaching a subject that I love but understand that many students find extremely challenging. A teacher of 26 years, qualified to teach both science and maths. He has worked as a head of math’s, second in science, been the lead teacher in a psychiatric unit and as a trainer for ‘GRIT’. Clem has had a wide and varied teaching experience covering academic work, resilience and coaching young people. In addition to this, the last 6 years of outreach have enabled him to be able to walk into a variety of family situations and create relationships.
