I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher with over 20 years experience teaching across the curriculum in primary schools. I now teach at the University of Brighton and at a college of Further Education as well as continuing to tutor primary-aged children. These children have a range of needs from, support with preparation for Year 6 SATs to support for dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have also been tutoring primary-aged children for the past 2 years. Some of these children have been diagnosed with dyslexia and so I have carried out research on how to best support individuals with this difference. Mr Adam T

Semi-retired chemistry teacher currently teaching A-Level chemistry at a 6th Form College where I was formally Head of Science. I have also taught in secondary schools, both state and independent boarding schools including GCSEs, IGCSEs, and BTEC across most exam boards. I am very familiar with the anxieties many students experience when adapting their learning skills from GCSE to A level. I am a trained Mental Health First Aider and qualified Apple Teacher. I put a lot of emphasis on explaining concepts in a simple and accessible way to students who are finding chemistry difficult so that they gain confidence and can make sense of their learning. I am also experienced in training exam techniques and preparation for able students chasing A/A* grades. I have coached numerous students towards medicine, vet, and Oxbridge university courses.
