I am a native German speaker and fully qualified teacher with many years of experience teaching German to every level of learner, from beginner and holiday to business, GCSE and A-Level, from small children to adults. Furthermore, I am a Sociology teacher/lecturer and have taught GCSE as well as A Level students. My work has included teaching the staff and their children of some of the East Midland’s largest employers. I have been working solely as a private tutor since September 2019, firstly as a face to face tutor but, due to Covid, I transferred to online tutoring in March 2020. I have experience of supporting for 11+, entrance exams and SATs tests, as well as KS1, KS2 and KS3 Maths and English, including phonics, spelling, reading, etc.

I am a dedicated Maths Tutor working with individuals & small groups, whether the aim is to boost their grade, build confidence, overcome or achieve a target. My greatest passion in life is teaching. During my schooling, I experienced great success due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my pupils, whatever their abilities may be. Currently, I am working in a Primary school as a Lead Practitioner, teaching Year 5. I have previously taught Year 2 and Year 6 and have experience in SATS preparation. I am currently studying a Masters degree specialising in taking the curriculum outside the classroom, rounding out my PGCE. I have been teaching for 5 years and am qualified to teach the whole primary age phase, including experience in working with children with learning difficulties. As a teacher, I always work with the highest of expectations and strive to enable all children that I teach to achieve their very best.
