Mrs Trinidad A

I'm a native Spanish speaker (from Ecuador) who moved to England 11 years ago. I taught Spanish in an international school for a few years until my first child was born. Ever since, and for the last seven years, I've been offering home tuition. I've taught Spanish from Key Stage 2, all the way through to GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IB across all the major Exam Boards as well as conversational Spanish from beginners to advanced learners. I enjoy teaching private lessons as I can truly design my classes for each student, according to their strengths, goals and interests. Making the subject enjoyable and relatable is my first priority with students. The last year suddenly brought a a sudden, yet interesting change to my classes, as it opened the door to work with students from all over the country and abroad. I've had to learn to integrate technology to my approach, which is usually very kinaesthetic. I like to integrate Study Skills and assist students with learning methodologies as part of my lessons as well.

I'm a qualified teacher with a First Class degree in History from Cambridge University. I have experience teaching in a wide range of schools, including primary and SEN, so combine my knowledge of primary and secondary to give affective support to those students making the transition. I currently tutor GCSE and A level history students and younger students working towards the 11+ and school entrance exams. My teaching approach is open, respectful and bespoke. I tailor my approach depending on the needs of the student. I can offer academically rigorous teaching, which challenges and pushes students, but equally can build the confidence of students by making subjects accessible.
