Miss Jennifer C

I am a qualified secondary maths specialist with two decades' experience in teaching and tutoring, currently supporting students from Key Stage 2 up to A Level within school settings, outside of school hours, in home-education settings and in international schools (iGCSE). I have been Deputy Head of Faculty in a mainstream comprehensive and examine for a number of exam boards, and can therefore support students both aiming for the highest grades and those who might have low confidence in their mathematical ability. I have a particular interest in working with students with additional needs and experience with students who have dyscalculia, ASD, hearing impairments, SEMH, and specific learning difficulties, most latterly as Head of Department in a specialist SEN secondary school. My teaching is consistently characterised by being flexible and person-centred, building a rapport that enables each individual to maximise their potential in maths.
