As a teacher with 25 years experience I have worked in both the Primary and Secondary sectors and now work for an all-through Multi-Academy trust as the Deputy headteacher. I have worked as an examiner for both Edexcel and AQA and have as strong knowledge of both GCSE and A level History and Sociology as well as tutoring English which I really enjoy. At Primary level, I have an interest in supporting children with Dyslexia and other SEND needs. In pursuit of this interest and a belief that teaching children to read and enjoy vocabulary is pivotal I have trained as A Read Write Inc Reading leader and work with young children privately teaching them how to read ( synthetic phonics). My exam results are year on year in the top 3 % nationally. I consider teaching to be my vocation and I am extremely passionate about the work I do.
