Mr Nicola V

I've always loved to study languages and learn about different cultures. In 2013 I decided to become a language instructor and I obtained a certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults at International House, London. In 2014 I became a qualified teacher in the UK, which allowed me to start working for different secondary schools teaching Latin Spanish and Italian in KS3/KS4 up to GCSE and A-Level. Currently, I am working as a supply teacher in different secondary schools across London and as a private tutor, teaching Italian to adults and preparing Y13 students for Italian A levels and KS4 ones for Spanish and Latin GCSEs. I help the students to develop all skills in an entertaining and dynamic way with the use of role-plays, games and conversation activities; supported by work on grammar and vocabulary. I have previously been Head of Year 1 and Phonics/Reading Lead for several schools. I have led SATS revision sessions and worked with children on the 7+ exams.
