It is important to me that your child has fun when learning, makes rapid progress and fulfils their potential. My lessons are bespoke and carefully matched to each individual child's needs and interests. I am a year 4 teacher and current STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and Design and Technology subject leader. Within my job, I have to teach an array of school subjects that are based upon the National Curriculum set by the government, most notably English and Maths. Therefore, it is my duty to ensure my subject knowledge is at a high standard in all areas, especially in reading, writing and maths. I am able to construct child-friendly lessons that cater for a variety of needs. Initially, I would assess a child's current ability and then use that information to inform my future planning. After each lesson, rich and practical feedback is provided to the child to ensure they know what their next steps should be.
