Mrs Tamara W

I am a qualified and experienced Science Teacher and Lecturer, specialising in Biology to A level; Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science through to Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Examiner for A level Biology. I also teach Geography from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and A level. I have been teaching for 12 years, in schools, colleges and University courses. My BSc degree is in Zoology, followed by an MSc in Biodiversity and another MSc in Food Sustainability and Natural Resources. I am qualified to teach; holding both a PGCE in Further Education, as well as a PGCert in Higher Education. I began my teaching career teaching A Levels and other adult courses in the United Kingdom and am currently teaching Biology for 16-18 year old's. I enjoy providing a calm, interactive environment for learning, I aim to be empathetic and encouraging, providing many resources by email as well as during the sessions.

Qualified and experienced teacher of Maths, currently teaching Maths at a high school in North Wales. Teaches Maths through Years 7- 9 and GCSE/IGCSE across all major Exam Boards but in particular WJEC. Also experienced in nursing maths and teaching adults. Recently moved to Anglesey, some weekend spaces now but will be full-time tutoring after July with more availability including daytimes.

Mrs Susan N

Susan is a SEND Consultant and teacher who provides support for SENCOs and School Leaders on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) issues to ensure young people with SEND receive high-quality support tailored to their individual needs so that they meet their potential. She is an experienced SENCO and teacher, having worked for over 30 years in inclusive mainstream secondary schools and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). While at the PRU Susan conducted baseline assessments and implemented support to enable pupils to return to school. In the past two years, Susan has delivered training on the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and a range of relevant SEND issues to ensure the successful inclusion of pupils with complex educational needs in schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Liverpool. Susan has experience of building the self-esteem of learners helping them to overcome challenges such as ASD, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. In addition, to her SEND specialist tutoring, she a trained Humanities teacher specialising in Religious Studies. For the last 5 years, she has acted as a GCSE examiner for Edexcel Religious Studies Christianity and Islam papers.
