I am a qualified teacher who is a passionate and experienced EYFS and Key Stage One Teacher. I have worked in schools and nurseries for 28 years. I currently lead a nursery setting within a school in Rainham, Kent. I have had the opportunity to work with local authorities moderating other schools assessment judgements. I have been a curriculum lead teacher for EYFS, ICT and PE. I have experience of teaching children with SEN as well as having two children with additional needs. In my teaching experience I have worked with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders as well as other areas of need. I have used interventions such as sensory circuits and calming strategies to enable children to learn at their level and to manage their needs in busy environments. I also work closely with other professionals, providing information for reports and implementing plans that have been written by speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
