I have 22 years experience teaching ranging from KS3 all the way to Further and Higher Education. I hold both QTS and a PGCERT in Higher and Further Education. I have a Medical Microbiology Degree from Surrey University and an MSc in Immunology from Kings College London. I am currently Head of Biology and Head of Teacher training at a private school in Surrey. I have IB experience, SEN experience (working for 4 years at More House, Farnham). My QTS is for secondary science.

Mr Tom F

I have been teaching for five years since obtaining QTS (2016). Prior to this, I received a BSc (Hons) in Computing in 2005 and between 2005 and 2015, worked as a software engineer, software consultant and ethical hacker for a fintech organisation. I am currently the Computer Science lead at a State Secondary school in Hampshire with c. 750 students. I teach the OCR Computer Science syllabus but am comfortable teaching all main exam boards, as well as other qualifications such as ICT, CIDA, IGCSE, iMedia etc. I am a Computer Science teacher trainer in North Hampshire for the SCITT program and have also recently completed a BA in Humanities and Philosophy with The Open University. I am a certified Duke of Edinburgh Leader and Assessor, and in my spare time I love cycling, running, playing in my band, supporting Sunderland and London Irish and spending time with my family. I have three sons under the age of four and so find myself spending less time on the other things than I used to!

I am currently working at a secondary school in Slough. I teach ks3, ks4 and ks5. I have previously been an examiner for AQA History exams and have an excellent understanding of the exam specification and exam techniques for this exam board at GCSE level. I also teach the OCR A Level History unit Britain 1930 -1997. I have also previously taught Ks3 and GCSE English.
