I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher with over 20 years experience teaching across the curriculum in primary schools. I now teach at the University of Brighton and at a college of Further Education as well as continuing to tutor primary-aged children. These children have a range of needs from, support with preparation for Year 6 SATs to support for dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have also been tutoring primary-aged children for the past 2 years. Some of these children have been diagnosed with dyslexia and so I have carried out research on how to best support individuals with this difference. Other children just need a boost with confidence, and families have given me feedback that my positivity and reassurance, provide this.
