I am currently specialising in teaching GCSE German online - with a great deal of success as several of my previous students have achieved top grades in their GCSE exams. I have also helped students who are struggling with German to improve their predicted grades by at least two bands. I prepare students for AQA, Edexcel and IGCSE exams and also work part-time as an IGCSE German tutor with a well-known home-schooling organisation.
Currently in my 20th year of teaching. I hold a management position within my science department at school . I teach Chemistry from Years 9-13 and all 3 sciences at KS3. Alongside teaching, I have been tutoring for 17 years. I was an A Level examiner for AQA to help understand mark schemes in order to aid my teaching back when I first qualified. I was top student at university in German, gaining a First in both my translation and speaking assessments. I am currently coaching an A level student in German conversation which is going very well.
