I have travelled around the world teaching adults and teenagers, whilst learning new languages and perfecting the ones I know along the way. I worked at a top language school in Madrid, Spain and became fluent in Spanish. I later returned to the UK to complete a PGCE and have worked in British schools teaching modern languages and Welsh to key stages 3, 4, and 5. I am able to teach through both Welsh and English. My travels, experience, and studies mean that my lessons are linguistically-rich but also inform about culture and country-specific customs. I am up-to-date with various syllabuses but also individualise lessons to meet the specific requirements of the student. Teaching languages for me is a joy and I aim to transfer this passion for languages to those I teach.
