Ms Cecilia D

I am an enthusiastic and committed teacher with over twenty years experience of teaching in secondary schools. I have taught Latin at all levels, from beginners to Y13. I have tutored students whose schools do not offer Latin from scratch to GCSE. I have taught Classical Civilisation A level with excellent results since 2010 and am currently tutoring a Y13 student in the Greek Religion and in the Imperial Image unit. I really enjoy tutoring as as the lesson can respond to the individual learning needs and styles of the pupils, enabling them to make very rapid progress compared to a classroom. Mrs Monica S

I am a qualified MFL teacher with 5 years of experience with permanent status to live in the UK. I have been working in the school I started as an NQT in 2018 and I am deeply committed to the Institute and the department I belong to. I have experience teaching the GSCE AQA exam board. After many years spent in the pursuit of budgets and targets for several companies, I decided I was ready for the change I was aiming at, since my school days: teaching! Teaching ignites fires and even though it can be very hard, I can define it without any idealism as the best job on earth! It is great to invest in human capital rather than some random company's one.

SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
French, Spanish, German, Italian
Qualifications:
PGCE Modern Foreign Languages, UEL Schools Direct (2018). BA Modern Foreign Languages, Italy (2003).
