HOW IT WORKS
We are available to receive your phone call on 01993 774549. Monday to Friday, from 9am to 7pm; or Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm. If you are not able to phone us directly, leave us a short message through our website and we will phone you back. Please let us know your preferred time for us to call you.
A senior teacher will discuss your requirements with you, answer your questions and be able to advise you. The information that we will need from you may include: the purpose and ambition for the tuition; the academic subject and level; the exam board (if relevant) and the postcode of your home or location where the lessons will take place.
We can generally arrange the appointment of a teacher for you within one or two days, although you can choose to start the tuition whenever you wish, during the next few days or at some later date.
You will receive an academic profile of the teachers that we have available for you and, if you wish, you can then invite them to call you. This will enable teachers to introduce themselves to you more fully; and, most importantly, enable you to talk directly with them, to see if they are a good fit for your needs ... in terms of their character and style, as much as their skill and experience. Tuition works at its very best when there is an excellent rapport between the student and tutor.
You do not need to pay anything in advance, nor do we require any contracts or minimum commitment. The teacher's travel expenses are included within the fee. You can start or stop the tuition at any time.
All lessons are taught at your home, and are scheduled at your convenience: weekdays, evenings, weekends or holidays; generally one hour lessons are recommended for younger children, 90+ minutes for seniors and adults; though the rhythms and routines for lessons can be flexible and as required.
You will receive a copy of your teacher's timesheet at the end of each month, providing you with a record of the lessons that you have received that month, and the tuition fees due. Payment is then made by Direct Debit. Our standard terms are 7 days, for us to transfer the tuition fees through to your teacher.
Throughout this last month, our teachers have provided tuition for many hundreds of families, clients and schools across England and Wales; for students of all ages and abilities; Primary and Secondary; those preparing for Public Exams including GCSE, IGCSE and A levels; those who are home schooling; students preparing for School Entrance Exams; students requiring SEN support; also adults looking for academic enrichment or with exams to pass. Their thoughts and views are here.
