I am an experienced History and English teacher with demonstrable evidence of students making progress. I write bespoke revision and booster courses to support students and provide intervention in preparation for examinations, I am currently taking part in the national tutoring programme (NTP) supporting students in making progress due to the pandemic. I teach across the age and ability range: English and Humanities at key stage 2, History from Key Stages 3 through to GCSE and A Level; English at GCSE; Religious Education and Geography from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE. I am an examiner for Edexcel (GCSE History and Moderator for A Level History) and have taught across exam boards and specifications for both English and History (AQA/ WJEC and OCR). I also have SEN and EAL experience. On a personal note, I am a musician and a keen member of an amateur dramatics group and love walking having just recently completed Hadrian's Wall coast to coast.
